A documentary on FES [Functional Electrical Stimulation] Technology in North America and Europe - This program included following the progress of a young woman who is classified as a partial quadriplegic, from her "first stand" to her walk down the aisle at her wedding; an older gentleman - quadriplegic for 25 years - who regained the use of his hands; a father who as a paraplegic can now walk slowly with a natural gait; and other FES applications such as for bowel and bladder control.
