Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

In the distant future of Gotham City, former Batman Bruce Wayne has hung up his cape and cowl and passed it onto his young protege Terry McGinnis, who works tirelessly to carry on Batman's legacy. But now Terry's heroism is put to the test when Batman's longtime foe, the Joker mysteriously returns with a vengeance. With help from Wayne and Commissioner Barbara Gordon, Terry must work to piece together the puzzle of how and why the Joker returned before Gotham is plunged into destruction.
